The pictures on this blog are creative commons licensed unless otherwise mentioned. The type of the license is Noncommercial-Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0. It means you are allowed to use the pictures, just with a few limitations…
- Noncommercial means you are not allowed to use the pictures for commercial purposes. It is for instance not allowed to use the pictures in a commercial publication or sell them on the street to strangers. If that would ever cross your mind, you should contact me and we would discuss the price.
- Attribution means that if you use the picture for example in your own blog (unless you happen to be pro and make money with it), you simply have to write who took the picture, that is me: Veera Vehkasalo.
- Share alike. If you would use the picture to an artwork (I’m sure that will not happen, it’s just an example!), you cannot copyright the result – you have to use a similar license that allows the result to be “shared alike”, for instance Creative Commons.
